Kaito, or Kai for short, who ate an unknown Devil Fruit, was just a young man with an ambition to become a master battle strategist and merchant for a crew. But, with his merchant parents gone and somewhat stranded on Jaya, how is he supposed to achieve his dream? One day in Mocktown, Jaya, Kaito meets some pirates that want to go up to the Sky Island. After he, the apes, and Cricket helped them out with fortifying their ship and the pirates helping Cricket get his gold back, Guramii joins them to Skypiea, and to fulfill his dreams. Evil people take longer lives than good people, but it is a fact and must be accepted. Luffy's death will come sooner or later due to a strange disease he contracted, but no one knows, and all that matters to Luffy is that he achieved his dream and most of his friends' dreams, except for two people. He was sad because he would leave them halfway, but he knows that they are strong and will get through this ordeal and continue on the path to achieving their dreams.
