An 18 year old boy named Faunus Colton Fuller and his mom and 15 year old sister live on their family farm. Their dad disappeared when Colt was 5.

My adrenalin shoots through the roof, I sprint over to her and stop by her side. She lies unconscious on her back with her mouth hanging open. I can see her warm breath in the cold air. This only slightly relieves me. This all feels too familiar. I've felt this all before. I know I have. I look down to my own feet and it hits me; why all this feels so familiar. I stare down at my feet. If you can even call them that. Sliver-gray paws are where my feet should be. Everything comes rushing back at once.
