Shiro Yami.

A criminal.

Robbed a bank 3 times and escaped jail 8 times. Hijacks cars like it's second nature. Pro pick-pocket. Master lier.

One day he was running late to a drug deal and stumbled upon a thug about to r*pe a young teenage girl. Sure shiro was a criminal but he wasn't heartless. He saved the girl and beat ( killed) the thug.

Unfortunately for him a certain winged hero had heard the commotion and recognized shiro from the many crimes he commited.

That was how he went jail for the 9th time.

Unexpectedly a certain principle from U.A had heard of his heroic act and offered him a deal. It was either attend U.A and become a hero or rot in jail for the rest of his life. Safe to say he chose to join U.A as a student.
