My first finished book. Inspired by the song Home For The Summer by Sara Kays. This book contains strong language and has a few smut chapters, you can easily skip those if you want as I made sure they don't contain important information about the story :) Clay and George used to be inseparable, but when Clay had to leave the town they had both grown up in together, their friendship slowly faded away. Now, years later, they still hadn't forgotten about each other but were both too scared to reach out to one another. That was, until Clay decided to come home for the summer, going back to the town the two of them had made so many memories in, in the hopes of finding George. Out Of Control
George hasn't had an easy life after being diagnosed with autism. Going to a public school as an autistic, highly intelligent boy, he clearly notices the differences between his classmates and himself, giving him a lot of insecurity and shame about his own behaviour. As his escape, he goes to a bakery for hours a day to calm his mind, but things change when a new boy who moved is hired. Unexpectedly, and for the first time, George decides to open himself up to the new boy, Clay, while at the same time, Clay slowly starts falling for his new best friend, George. Mostly fluff with some angst every now and then! ⚠️ I wrote this book from my own experience and my own mindset, as someone with diagnosed autism, highly intelligent and ADHD. Clay and George got married and life seemed to be back to perfect. They were married, happy and healthy. Though, everything changes when George has to get used to an adult's life when he feels like everything but an adult. Clay and George start drifting apart when Clay starts to suffer from bad flashbacks, nightmares and so many traumas that he doesn't want to get out of bed anymore. Clay's "always perfect" life suddenly turns into a living hell while George keeps struggling with the responsibility of being an adult. Will they be able to recover from everything trying to rip them apart for the third time? Clay and George are somehow sucked into Minecraft. While trying to figure out how to escape, Clay is taken over by a strange force. George is left to fend for himself, his only hope being that defeating the ender dragon will take him back to real life. But what about his best friend (who might be more than just a friend)? *Notice*: I am using the personas/characters that George and Dream portray on YouTube, and I respect their lives and decisions. After all, they're some of my favorite creators. How could I not? If at any point they say that shipping/fanfic makes them overly uncomfortable and is straining their relationship, this story will be taken down immediately.
