Harry wasn't naïve, he was just too trusting. And, it cost him his life. But, he got a second chance. A redo...He learned there was no way out of his situation, he had to defeat Voldemort. But, he could do it so much better the second time around.
(P.S This story will be heavily cannon reliant till I find a good way to diverge away from the books! This is my first fanfiction and I'm using the books as a sort of crutch.)
