When the diseases known as Farina X spread across the world. People went into quarantine, However the government had other plans! Not only did they forcefully take away multiple people's kids! They also took them to an underground lab known as X-4. To test their.. mutation.. one could say.
Of course they have the kids and teens being on opposite sides of each other. That brings us to Selene and John. John being the younger brother who can barely speak to Selene being the older sister who.. well. She's special, just like her little brother.
The two get separated and outta everyone else there those two specifically have the best luck with their mutants? Why is that? Keep reading to find out.

Mr. Knight has found 19 children, and Mr. Douglas, the leader of the other group, has found 10. That means... the 30th child is out there somewhere. Who will it be? It was just a normal day for Hazel Roberts and Leo Esteban. They thought they would go to school, take a huge history test that neither of them were prepared for, then go home and text each other for the rest of the afternoon. Typical teenager's day, right? Well on one particular day, the two best friends experienced something that would change their lives. A bomb explodes inside of their school while Hazel and Leo were still inside. They should have died from the impact, but something caused them to survive. The reaction of the explosion caused the two of them to develop powerful mutations that give them amazing abilities. Soon those abilities are put to the test when they have to fight for their lives. There are more mutants, like Hazel and Leo, around the world who are considered illegal in the cruel new society of humans who hate people who aren't normal. Every mutant in the world has to rebel against the "Normals" and make things right in the world. Hazel and Leo are two teenagers who will do anything to make things right again, and yearn for that "typical teenager day" again.Complete
Wrong dose
When twins Skylar and Jake were born, their scientist parents used them as an experiment. Each was injected with a dose of serum that would supposedly make them much stronger, smarter, simply better than other kids. But somebody added a chemical that changed the effects of the serum. As a result each twin got only half of the traits they were originally supposed to get. Skylar got the strength and speed while Jake got the brains. When they realized what had happened, the twins' parents immediately put them up for adoption, so neither one knew of the other. 12 years later Skylar is constantly failing all her classes, and Jake is getting bullied because he is so much weaker than other kids. But then Skylar's adoptive family decides to move across the country to find a new school for their daughter, which happens to be the school Jake goes to. They meet completely by accident. In the meantime, their parents have found a way to fix their mistake from 12 years ago -- they can make one of the twins perfect. But it requires for the other twin to give their life.Complete

In the wake of ridding Oakwood of Wanderers, other dangers come creeping in and they're somehow linked to Luc's absent twin. The past returns to haunt the mutants in inconspicuous ways.
