After a deadly virus nicknamed "Rattlebox" (so named because of the horrible sounds its victims make as they die) brings civilization to its knees, Luke Hodges and his little brother Sean try to survive in the dangerous wasteland of the country they used to call home. Those who haven't succumbed to Rattlebox yet are reduced to raving lunatics, prowling the deserted streets, committing suicide- or homicide.
