This is my take on the beautiful story Heatwaves from George's POV. I loved the original and couldn't get enough of it. If there is anyone out there feeling the same way, I think this should be good for them.
All this back-and-forth, this innocent teasing; he has gotten used to it by now. He knows the moves of the game. He jokes when Dream jokes. He strikes only if Dream does first. It's entertainment. A meaningless, platonic love affair.
Yet his mind dwells. He knows it now. His mind lingers waiting for a dream to last.
It is tiring to navigate the mazes of their interactions with Dream. He grows vary of keeping balance, minding not to fall into a trap with each step. Yet he walks on. There must be an abstract reward to all this, something that feeds his soul - he doesn't know what. He only knows that it doesn't bother him anymore.

June Nights
George and Dream are still not together. Dream still has lingering feelings. They said not yet, maybe someday. But it's been more than two years since then. The two of them, along with Sapnap all live in the amazing Dream Team house like they've planned for forever. A little less than three years since it was first released. The infamous Heatwaves. The fanfiction that almost everyone in their fandom has read, the fiction of what never happened. They make jokes about it. All the time. Because, in honesty; Dream gets scared at how accurate the story was. Some of those conversations actually happened. Or something close to it. Conversations in the dark, snapchats of his hands, the nightmares. Or It's been a little less than three years since the hit fanfiction called Heatwaves has been published. It's June of 2023 and Dream is finally reading it. His feelings for George have never left, not in 4 years. When Dream decides to read this story he realizes there are so many similarities.Concluída
Panic
Life is going fine for George until he starts feeling... weird. Everytime he talks to Dream, he gets butterflies- Yearning for the joyful sound of Dreams laugh- But, panic starts to set in. Their only best friends, right? George doesn't want anything more, at least he doesn't think. Fearing that these stupid feelings will ruin evrything, George decideds to take a break from the internet. Things in his life change. He loses his apatite. He loses sleep. And, hes losing his connection with Dream. Yet hes still panicking. As he starts to fall into a deep state of depression, he hears a knock at his door. "Who could that be" George groans as he walks across the cold, hard floor to the door. As he twists the handle, it creaks. Shock freezes his whole body. "Dream?!" Trigger Warnings throughout the book include - Panic attacks, anxiety attacks, vomiting, passing out, suicidal thoughts, attempt suicide, rude language, and physical violence.Concluída
Ghosting / DNF
Just before Dream and George were about to get married, something unexpected happened: George died and is now a ghost, unable to be seen by a single soul. This is horrible. It still can get worse though, especially if you see the love of your life slowly moving on, falling in love with someone else, right in front of your eyes. ↘️Just an info, nothing big:↙️ Written out of fun and for entertainment.
