"You good, babe? You kinda seem a bit off today." "How so?" I asked, even though I knew the answer to that question. I had everything
I had everything. Well I could have everything. Until my parents passed away and I got sent to live with my father's longest pal, 68 miles away from where I lived. A tragedy. I was handed off like an object unable to say anything as the authorities packed my bag and shoved me into one of daddies' nice cars. I took everything with me. All of mum's things, her clothes her jewellery. It was all I had to remember her by, after all, there was a lot of it. I took all of dad's things too.
