Prince Link fears he can never live up to his mother's expectations.  Zelda has just been knighted into the Royal Guard.  When Link unwittingly unleashes a horror upon Hyrule, Zelda must protect this foolish prince and help him defeat the impending evil that is lurking in Hyrule.

The cover art was posted on the internet by blueskittlesart. I do not own the pictures for the chapters either. Zelda and Link as well a few other characters are owned by Nintendo but the rest of the them are mine!

~Having returned after two years, I decided to edit The Heroes' Rebirth. I changed (hopefully) all of the spelling errors, fixed the grammar and changed some of the sequences of events. I added some extra scenes as well. Hope you enjoy the revised version :) HR It has been six months after the defeat of Calamity Ganon. Peace and rebirth are beginning to come upon the land of Hyrule once again. Zelda is deep in planning of the repair of Hyrule Castle and Hyrule Castle Town, and Link is busy with the cleansing of the lands from monsters. The two have had almost no time together after their fight with Ganon. A lot of work needs to be done to rebuild Hyrule, and to convince others to help will take a lot of work from Link and Zelda. Having all his memories back, Link is plagued with thoughts and memories of the Champions, wishing he could go back in time and save them. He can't focus on the past too much though, because an incredible threat has woken up, and will certainly destroy Hyrule if nothing is done soon. Hyrule needs a hero, and that hero happens to be Link. Takes place after Breath of the Wild. The cover photo isn't mine! All character rights go to Nintendo, but the plot is mineee! Amnesia was a funny thing. It strips you of all memories, both good and bad. But what it didn't take away from Link was his caring heart. He wasn't a man who had time to deal with or worry about things like memories anyway. All he cared about was doing what was right. But just because Link had no memories, or any interest to reclaim them, didn't mean they wouldn't return to haunt him. Ever since Link woke up, strange things have been happening around the land. Horrific creatures, not quite monster and not quite human, begin appearing at night to terrorize the denizens of Hyrule. Link, not one to simply let such evils do as they please, decides to investigate into the matter as he travels across the land to find a way to destroy these creatures. It should've been just another job for him, just a problem the people needed solved, just another errand for the incarnation of Hylia's hero. But as he investigates, he is haunted by his past. Link's mind cannot remember what happened. But his heart did. He still feels what he lost, what he failed to protect, even after one hundred years. That's what draws something toward Link, the very same evil that created the creatures he faces. It follows and watches him from the shadows, taunting him, waiting for him to remember the past he's forgotten, waiting for the pain to resurface, waiting for the time he can no longer carry the weight of it all. As he journeys on his quest to defeat Ganon and save Princess Zelda, Link must learn to contend with another ancient evil that taints the land, all while facing the ghosts of his forgotten past. A story which both Zelda fans and people who don't even know what Nintendo is can enjoy. It's a princess's dream to be swooped away by her knight in shining armour, but for Zelda, this knight has to be a prince as well, in order to follow the King's rules. Link and Zelda's love is put at stake when trust and loyalty are tested. Can the two break through the laws to pursue their love, or will they give in and follow the path chosen for them? Nintendo own the characters of Link and Zelda, as well as the location of Hyrule and Hateno Village, but the rest of the character are all my own, as well as... the other location. That was your purpose. 100 years passed since the defeat of the Champions, although one remained. The one you were to help once he awoke from his slumber. It is soon revealed that some of the dark lord's dreaded malice wasn't completely eradicated upon his defeat. The very little that remains seeks to try and rewrite history in Ganon's favor, by going back in time and erasing the existence of the four late champions. Now, it's up to the knight and princess duo to go back in time to try and stop the malice from destroying the kingdom they treasure and the friends they dearly loved. Now dressed in girl clothes. hopefully the Zoras won't know how hylians are build. and reveal Link's true identity. Link thought his biggest problem would be if the Zoras would reveal him. But he has bigger problem than that. Darkness threats to destroy the planet and Link has to be the hero he is supposed to be. But, is he ready for being that person? Or will Ganon kill him since he isn't prepared? this story may contain smut, but the main focus will be about the relationship between Link and Sidon, and the upcoming war. enjoy <3
