New to the Phoenix area, Nola and her family spent the summer of 1990 moving into their new home. They come all the way from New Orleans, Louisiana. Nola's parents are both successful, and accomplished. Her mother is an interior designer, and her father a lawyer. Which meant, the family was well off. Going to all-girl private schools all her life, this would be the first year 14 year-old Nola goes to public school. This summer she meets a new friend and soon realizes she was raised in a completely different world than he. It was all fun and games with bike rides and treehouses... but what happens when both kids grow curious and grow older?

Breaking The Habit (Chester Bennington fanfic)

27 parts Complete Mature

Michelle hasn't had it easy in life, coming from a broken home, an absentee father and abusive mother, she wasn't really set up for success in life, and struggles in relationships, battling addiction, self-harm, and depression. She hasn't been sober for more than a couple of weeks since her engagement to her high school sweetheart fell through three years ago, and after a black out bender with her friends, she ends up going home with a man she's never met. When she wakes up, she remembers nothing from the night before, but can't help but be enchanted by the handsome stranger that greets her. Unsure of what she did, or who this person is, she's cautious and afraid. But she doesn't realize that she's met the one person in the world who actually understands her, who's been through similar situations and battles similar demons. How will things play out? Will these two strangers revel in the previous night's events? Or will she do the walk of shame, and forget about him, like she has all the others? Give the story a chance, and find out. ch
