Meghan had been on her own for a few months now in what was now her everyday reality. The undead ruled the world, at every turn she had to be wary of the danger of her face being ripped off, along with her limbs being ripped from her body. She thought everything was going alright for her, as far as 'alright' could be described. However, when she suddenly meets a hot and annoying guy, her world is turned upside down by his crazy request. With a long journey ahead of her, this is not what she thought she would be doing at the end of the world.

Obviously, when a flesh-eating parasitical virus was found, scientists in all their glory decided to study it, which led to the greatest calamity in human history. Warning: This is the original book 1, it is now considered more of a prelude/building character relationships arc than a book. This provides backstory and sets the foundation for the characters and their relationships.
