Story starts after Preliminaries are finished. Naruto is set to fight Neji in the first round, and Gaara in the next. Jiraiya actually decides to teach Naruto since Kakashi hasn't really taught the boy anything. They take the month to train Naruto in everything that he should've learned with Kakashi in the past months.
