Of Ice and Snow
Lily is a snow witch with powerful magic and a quick temper. Not the best combination. But she keeps to herself, and the few people she lets get close know she has a good heart, and that's enough for her. She doesn't need any drama in her life. Except she never knows what to expect from her next-door neighbor, who is a mad scientist. Then there's her meddling family back at the North Pole. Minor irritations, but they may or may not trigger her blizzard-inducing rage from time to time, resulting in out-of-season snowstorms, snowbound towns, and confused meteorologists worldwide. Good thing she has a fairy godmother. Or is it? When a forbidden paranormal romance brings secret magic and an unspoken curse to light, the weight of the world lands on Lily's shoulders. Break the curse, save the world. Fail... And she'll destroy everything.Cerita Lengkap
Universe
Pushing off the sink in irritation, I turn to leave but he grabs my bare upper arm. My blood boils in annoyance while my skin tingles with excitement. He perks a brow, obviously sensing it. "Your aura is in disarray," he states bleakly. "Yeah, no shit Sherlock." My Earthly phrase earns me a tilt of his head and I scoff. "Where have you been, Beta?" "On a mission in the Xin Galaxy." "Okay? Would it not be wise to inform your OA of any missions that require your departure? Let go." I pull against his grip and he reluctantly lets go. "Yes, however, this mission did not require your presence nor your opinion," he replies candidly. My eye twitches and wordlessly, I turn away once more but his grip on my arm returns, this time more gentle, as if pleading rather than restraining. "I only meant that this mission did not require you to accompany me as my OA in pretence. It's safer to stay with your younglings out of sight anytime the role is not needed," his voice softer. "You disappeared after you..." I pause and shake my head. I feel embarrassed to say it out loud to him. I feel embarrassed at how much it affected me. "After I kissed you," he finishes for me, the silence following the words adds to the thickness growing in the air. _____ Wrongly accused of being a rebel conspiring against supernatural beings, whom she never thought existed outside of her world of anime fiction, a nightmare plagued Lyla becomes a wanted fugitive. she and her two young children are forced into hiding in a foreign yet beautiful world thousands of galaxies away from Earth to escape her death sentence. She is brought forth before the two heirs to the throne of the Universe. One of whom feels a strong need to hide and protect her while the other maliciously hunts for the wanted criminal, thrusting her into an unexpected journey of war, romance, and ancient secrets about the origins of her haunting nightmares.
His Prize
Nina is captured by parbeing man. He plans to turn her into his pet. He knows she won't go down without a fight, but he's not prepared for how much 'fight' she has packed in her small body. His new pet leaks into every area of his life, changing things in ways he could never have imagined. Parbeings are the new and improved apex predators of Earth. Created from gene editing, they are the perfect humans, so perfect that they are no longer even considered human. *** Content Warning: The protagonist of this story is a victim of abuse. I do not condone the actions of the antagonist *** Chapter 1 extract: "Hey Alex. Get over here. I've got something for you," he calls into his collar radio. I reach the end of the alley and turn to face my foe once again, but he remains where he is, still blocking my path but not approaching either. New plan: when he gets close, duck under his arms and make a run for it. Now I just have to wait. Before a minute has even passed, another armoured soldier appears and joins the first. This just keeps getting worse. How am I supposed to dodge past two of them? "What do you want now?" the new soldier grumbles. This one must be Alex. "Look at this cute little human I found. She's feisty. I think she's perfect for you." I glare at them. "I don't want a pet human. That's your disgusting fetish, and I'll have no part in it." "Oh come on Captain," the first soldier whines, "You don't have to fuck her, just train her to be obedient. Surely you can control one measly wild human? You are a captain after all. When you're done, you can just get rid of her, like I do with my humans." What the fuck? For a brief moment my fear is replaced by anger. Who do they think they are, talking about me like I'm some kind of wild animal? "Get the fuck away from me! You freaks!" I screech. The first soldier just flashes an evil grin. They don't budge. "Are you just going to let her talk to you like that?" he goads Alex. (Complete. 70k words.)Cerita Lengkap

A Number of Wrong Turns
Being given the task of investigating Nevada's bordello's should be the dream job of any young man. But Faré isn't an ordinary young man and this particular brothel has more than lace behind the curtains. The clientele isn't human, but then, neither is his girlfriend, employer or closest friend; he's not a bigot. The problem is that the bordello is being operated by the Andskoti, a group of aliens who don't have the best of intentions for the human race. They're also strong, smart and the fact that they look human makes catching them a whole lot harder. That's a lot to land in the hands of an 18 year old. Fortunately, he's only expected to find them; once he has, Linith, Rheda and Ayjer can come in and clean house. But there is a snag in the plan. Faré has the worst kind of luck. (This was a semi-challenge on my part, to see if I could write a short story. I set myself a target of 7000 words and... failed miserably. Nonetheless, it's a fun tale and the kind of lighthearted style I've been trying to get back into for a while. I hope you enjoy)Cerita Lengkap
The Mystery of Callie Brown
I tried to wriggle my arms and legs but just ended up feeling more exhausted and thirsty. I had a sudden urge to use the restroom but I felt helpless. "Pl...please...water...", I tried to scream but it came out more of a whisper. I heard footsteps approaching me and he stopped a few metres away from me and waited. "Please", I begged him. He came closer and poured the water on my mouth. I tried to drink it all but ended up leaving most of it on my dress. "Who are you? Why did you take me?", I asked him but there was no response. "Please let me go!", I cried. "Not so soon darling", came a hoarse reply. "Why are you doing this to me?", I asked him. "If I tell you that, what's the fun in it darling?", he asked with a sadistic smile. The peaceful life of Callie Brown turns into chaos when she goes missing. Read more to find out what happened to Callie Brown and if she survived.Cerita Lengkap
