It is universally known that once a member of the royal family turns 21 years old, they will be introduced to the whole kingdom, committing the rest of their lives to serve their people.
But not with Simonette Dani. The laws of the kingdom were against her. After all, she is an illegitimate child of the king of Daraga. She and her mother were banished to another kingdom called Alaminos, where she was born and raised, barely surviving from scraps and dirt.
Since then, she promised herself that even after turning 21, she will never go back to Daraga- not to the place ruled by a king who abandoned his family. But, she broke her promise after meeting Mirko, who was near yet unreachable.
Is the crown the only option for his eyes to meet hers?
