The capture of the team was not supposed to occur. It was only supposed to be him. Sudan was supposed to be a real mission, not a hoax. That was when he knew that something was off. But he was scared, terrified that if they found out how desperate he was to die, they would think him weak. He would lose their regard and that was something that he never wanted.
He did not know what they thought of him now, but he was sure that he had lost their respect.

The exit door lead to the back of the building so it was pitch black. I leaned against the wall trying to control myself. Blood was running down my arm and head. My hair was stuck to my face from all the sweat and blood. Everything was spinning around me and the ground seemed like it was shaking. Groaning I sat down and put my head on my knees. After my escape, and yet another but brutal last year at the same high school, my school sent me their condolences and made sure to inform my future college of my past.
