Alaina Whitlock lives in the cut on Outer Banks with her friends, Kiara, Pope, John B and lastly but definitely not least JJ. Her friends was her closest thing to a family. From a young age Alaina's parents didn't want anything to do with her, you can say she was not wanted in their life. She moved to Outer Banks -Paradise on earth- and started school there, this is when she her friends. She quickly learned the one rule the pogues had amongst them, "no pogue on pogue macking" it seemed like an important rule, but when she realised her crush for JJ had grown into more than just a crush, she was conflicted on what to do. The lines became blurry for both of them. "Rules are made for breaking aren't they?"
