"Just answer the damn question Malfoy!" Hermione yelled.

"I said no. Deal with knowing you don't get everything you want in life, Granger!"

"Just Answer!" She yelled. And then he was stepping forward and grabbing her upper arms his face inches from hers he could feel her breath against his skin. Eyes flying across her face stalling on her slightly ajar lips and then flicking back up to her golden eyes searching.

"Why do you think I did it Granger?" He spat. Before turning on his heal and storming out of the classroom. Leaving Hermione alone to question what he meant.

Breathing out, Hermione took his hand and said, "Valet in lucem." Draco wrinkled his nose, looking up at her confused. "Was that an insult?" Hermione rolled her eyes. "No Draco, it's an old saying in Latin." "Well I don't speak Latin 'Mione." She huffed. "I said, Light Prevails Malfoy, because it always does." Hermione thought he might try to argue with her again, make her red in the face with anger but Draco paused when he opened his mouth. She waited in anticipation. His features seemed to soften a little as he stared at the ground. When his eyes came back up to meet her, she thought she might get lost in his gaze. "Light prevails." Leaning in slowly, Draco kissed her on the lips and Hermionie pulled him in. -x- Draco Malfoy and Hermione Granger are far from friends, they're barely even acquaintances and if the two of them had their way, they would not be spending their final year at Hogwarts as Head Boy and Head Girl together. But as fate would have it, or rather McGonagoll, they are the top picks to keep the students at Hogwarts in check and out of harms way. Though the two of them might have something to say about that. Regardless, both Draco and Hermione accept their positions and try to move on from their old rivalry, close old wounds, and try to form some sort of friendship. But sometimes the past can't stay buried and old grudges die hard and despite not having to defeat a Dark Lord, their seventh year at Hogwarts may prove to be the hardest one yet. "I won't tell anyone just please let me go!" Delilah kept crying in fear as she felt his grip on her jaw tighten painfully. Nothing could explain the fear that ran through her as she watched him pull out a damp paper and press it against her mouth and nose forcefully, her vision turning black. Draco Malfoy was a very powerful man. He couldn't have the risk of a random nobody exposing his business because she was walking down the alley at the wrong time. He always got what he wanted. What he wanted at that moment was to keep her mouth shut about what she saw that night forever. So he took her captive.
