Dream was very good at pretending. Like- extremely good at acting. 
Not in a stage way or anything, Dream was able to pretend that everything was going well very easily. He managed to fool the entire SMP, actually. As far as they were concerned, he was having tons of fun playing Minecraft and had gotten over his girlfriend. That second part was actually true, he was over her. It had been long enough that it didn't matter. 
But he wasn't enjoying Minecraft. The game was fine, as always, but having to talk with a whole group of people and act normal- act like Dream- that wasn't fun. It was actually really, really hard.
He should consider himself lucky to be earning this much money while hanging out with his friends, but it was getting difficult. Especially with George.

When George agrees to fly to Miami, Dream panics. But so does George, especially as he struggles to hide his extreme fear of heights. As Dream and George get closer, they both start to realize they have feelings, but neither are ready to accept it. The struggle is real.

so, have you ever wondered what may have happened if george never did what he did at dream and fundy's wedding? this fanfic is an idea of what may have happened. "do you believe in true love?" - george is deeply in love with dream, yet his mind could never let him say anything about it. he didn't think he deserved to feel loved or date anyone. he fights himself everyday, contemplating opening up about his feelings to dream. his only escape from his mind was dream. he had been through tragic things already, his mother had been fighting cancer, yet died from it two weeks earlier. dream had gotten tired of how george never confessed his love, so he moved on. he starting dating fundy. george had no idea, so when he found out, it broke him. he had already been fighting himself because of his mother's death, and his mother was also his bestfriend. with two horrific things happening at once, it could only tie him down more. and then outside of the darkness, the light, sapnap appears. what does sapnap mean to george? is sapnap just someone he gives support to and he gets support back, or is it something more? - please pay attention all the tws, there will be tws at the top of chapters, if you do not follow the tws and are triggered, then that is on your part for not paying attention. tws throughout the story will be - suicidal thoughts - self harm - one sided love ( idk if this counts as a tw ) - mental illnesses - panic/anxiety attacks - dream smp au - - - - - - polarr filter by polarr.kly
