"Hazel." "What?" "My name." I swallowed hesitantly, afraid to shatter the silence between us anymore than I already had, "It's Hazel." The silence of the night made it seem as if someone breathing too loud could make the silence shatter into a million pieces. My voice was no exception, and I was terrified that if I spoke to loud, even one word, the it would shatter, along with everything in the room. The silence seemed to make my voice feel smaller than it was, so when I finally heard his footsteps again, it shocked me to hear how loud and distinctive each one was, as if the silence broke just for him. Nightwing x Red Hood (Jaydick) AU Completed! Dick lost his best friend to the Joker. He wanted to avenge Jason but Batman wouldn't let him kill. After 5 years, Nightwing meets the Red Hood and sees him as the vigilante who's willing to kill the Joker. While Batman hunts him down, Nightwing hooks up with him. He knew it was wrong but he couldn't help it. He was hot even if he didn't know who was under the Red Hood. Jason was all alone for 5 years. He needed to become someone else: Red Hood. He comes back to Gotham, running street gangs. His goal is to kill the Joker, the person who ended his previous life. But he finds that difficult when he meets Nightwing, someone working with his old mentor, Batman. He may not know who Nightwing is but that doesn't stop him from fucking him. Will Red Hood stop the Joker and get peace after 5 years? Red Hood doesn't know the identity of Nightwing and vice versa. ( I thought it'd be cool if they didn't know :) ). I tried to keep personalities of the characters like they normally are. It's written in the perspective of both Dick and Jason but it's third person. I use Red Hood and Nightwing in the other's perspective since they don't know each other. I'm a bad writer so be warned ;) Also I don't own the art. Hope you enjoy it!
