A Song for Scarlett

When 17 year old Scarlett and her mom move to the Jersey Shore to get away from the memory of her father's death she intends to finish her senior year unnoticed. She has lost the ability to care about anyone or anything besides her mother and plans to keep it that way. She doesn't want to make friends and she definitely doesn't want some mysterious kid named Aaron always staring at her. But he may be the only one to understand her pain and help her realize the need to move on. Will she let him in and allow him to heal her or will she push him away like she's done to so many others? And maybe the key to her happiness won't come from him but instead from a song written just for her.
