Aizawa does not approve of Ghost's actions on vigilantism. But he did not try and capture the vigilante either. For many reasons.
His main reason, Ghost was a child.
The other reason, Ghost has a habit of ghosting any hero he encounters. The pattern? All of the heroes have tried to capture him using their quirks one way or another. So no, Aizawa was not keen on hunting down children anytime soon. Even vigilante children.
He did not expect to adopt one though. He blames his bleeding heart.

Okay so it's a DADZAWA and an izuocha and Izuku's quirk's are erasure like his father and mental break he will have more, which is from a story called Vigilante Deku all credit goes to Lazy-Smartass_02. When Aizawa was out for food he remembered his first love Inko and that she had a kid and wondered if he will ever meet the kid. Aizawa then got an alert that a murderer has just killed a married couple he ran to the location only to see Inko with four stab wounds and Hisashi with eight bullet wounds he dropped to his knees and saw Izuku walk out of his room and Aizawa then took the kid home and checked his quirks and found out Izuku was his son.Complete
The ghost of his past
Hitoshi Shinso was a regular, sleepy depressed orphan. He had no parents but he wasn't sad about it. He had finally got into the hero course, earlier than expected, all thanks to his mentor. Now he's got to get used to the 'normal 1a', being them forcing him to hangout, watching movies, playing games like Uno or Monopoly or even a Ouija board!... ahh yes the Ouija board... That's how Shinso's high school life took a turn for the worse, or better even. Finding out you can see your mentor's dead best friend is trying to reach for the living again, or even to be seen by the rest of the living, and knowing that there is a way can be surprising for most. Shinso is a responsible man, enough to know he should tell someone, but this could be the special 'thank you' he owes. But would he slowly distance himself from the people who truly care? After his father kidnaps him and forces him to steal quirks he's forced to run away, Izuku Midoriya gets a job! On top of that, he is a vigilante! Will he be able to balance it all without worrying about our favorite coffee hobo plus a mystery person or a few? (You'll have to read to find out who) Or Aizawa meets his latest problem child and with the help of a certain detective, they try to catch him. Aizawa however finds out some interesting things about his problem child along his journey...
