Dean Winchester had always been alone. Not in the cringy bad boy way that's plastered all over romance movies, he just had a little too much going on to make friends. Killing people is a lot of work, and not exactly something you bring up during a night out with the boys.
He really didn't mind his life. He had his brother, he had a job, and he was damn good at it. He didn't need anything to change.
Which of course means everything was going to change.
When a slightly unusual job gives Dean way more than he was asking for, he finds himself scrambling to maintain his perfect routine. His life didn't need anything, or anyone else.
