In 1863, Theophile Gautier introduced us to the loquacious, punctilious swordsman, brigand and killer for hire Maitre Jaquemin Lampourde and his curious-looking colleague the Chevalier Malartic, assassin, criminal mastermind and professional kidnapper.

They were only secondary villains in Gautier's 'Captain Fracasse', henchmen to the villainous Duc d'Vallombreuse, but they were also much more interesting than any of the main characters of the novel, and sadly received far too little page-time. To remedy Gautier's negligence, I present the continued adventures of this pair of professional criminals in the Paris of D'Artagnan and Cyrano, hoping to do for them what Stoppard did for Rosencrantz and Gildenstern, and what Macdonald-Fraser did for Harry Flashman.All Rights Reserved

It introduced itself as 'the system'. As long as he save the vicious female partner from blackening, he can get out of the dungeon and he can also reclaim the Leng state that the Yan state invaded. ............ The Twinbucks Masquerade Ball Heist: The Sickle Smile Sisters debut by RDoll23

Tonight is the Twinbucks Masquerade Ball. Nobleman Stanley Twinbucks is hosting a party and political fundraiser for his campaign for a seat on Aizen's council. Unbeknownst to him and his guests, the Sickle Smile Sisters, a girl gang, plan to rob him of his earnings in criminal fashion. Last November, ChampionElcid, a writer and my friend proposed writing a short story for me involving my original characters. This short story was inspired by a dancing sketch that I drew featuring two of my oldest ocs: Rin and Marie. We came up with the idea for a heist story that took place during a masquerade ball. I thought Stanley Twinbucks, an upper class oc who I commissioned, would be the perfect target. After a few months of writing and weeks of editing, this short story is the result. ChampionElcid did most of the writing while I edited this short story. In addition to grammar and narrative progression, I made sure my original characters were properly represented. Honestly, ChampionElcid did a most respected job writing my ocs out, and even improve one of them: Nora Loveguard specifically was written better than how I wrote her first draft. I had a lot of a fun working on this short story with ChampionElcid. They've proven to be creatively talented and receptive. I hope you get a chance to check out their original poems and fanfiction.
