"I bite the hands covering my mouth. They disappear with a yelp. I shake free of the hands on my wrists and struggle the opposite direction. I don't get very far before I'm tackled to the ground. I kick and punch and scream, but no one can hear me. 'I'm sick of this screaming.' A voice says. It sounds...familiar. 'Knock her out. Then I see black."
17-year-old Skylar is alone and afraid. She has to leave the foster home she now lives in. But Skylar can't leave her 6 and a half month old sister Hazel. So Skylar decides to take Hazel with her. But then things get crazy. The night she decides to leave, Skylar is kidnapped by a boy named Asher. With the help of Asher, Skylar learns the truth about her parents amd why they left. But finding them is a totally different game. And way more dangerous. Is finding her parents worth dying for? Skylar doesn't know.
