Created as a weapon, E-36 spends her time working with her father to stop the evil threat looming over the horizon and bring peace to the galaxy. She travels planet to planet, her job to destroy the dark forces below her and then head back to her ship, where she then moves to the next place. But with a flash of light and a spiral downhill, that all changes.
Stranded on a planet, her ship gone, E-36 finally gets a chance to see the damage she has caused and realizes: her father hasn't been saving people; he's been destroying them, and she had been helping him do it. As she begins to understand what she's done, she finds help in Io, a kind of star-person destined to save the galaxy. Together, they team up with Raven, the owner of a tavern and eager fan of Io's, and Leigh, a mysterious stranger who seems eerily familiar, with the hope of putting an end to this ridiculous war.
But, at what cost?
