"They hurt her.
they turned her into a nightmare,
so I'm going to be theirs."

"Oh, shut up. You'll get your revenge soon enough."

Elora Aldaine is a sixteen year old girl who lives in the heart of the forest. Her mother was killed by a tribe of elves living nearby, a tribe that has been pestering her family for many generations. She has made it her life goal to track down those elves and get payback for them killing her mother.

Things get complicated when Elora discovers a secret in the forest that shouldn't be there, and when her father invites a detective out to the forest to try and track down the elves.

When tragedy strikes, Elora needs to hasten her search for the tribe before things take a dark turn.
