Indra Thompson had always lived a normal life. Her family loved her to bits- even if their relationship did feel absent at times. She succeeded in school- even if she may or may not have failed college statistics once or twice. Her career seemed to be heading in the right direction- she had recently graduated from the University of California at San Diego (go Tritons!) and had begun PT school. But there was one thing she was never good at and that was love. Sure, she had had her fair share of high school flings, but at the end of the day, love was embarrassing. Opening up your whole body and soul to one person in the hopes that they'll love you forever while also knowing that they could leave at any moment? Absolutely not. That terrified her.
