"It's been a while, hasn't it, Brenna?" I look up from my coffee to see the infamous ex, Colton. I shake my head, take another sip of my coffee, well, actually more like a gulp, then put the cup down. I stand from the chair and head to the door when his hand wraps around my wrist and pulls me, making me stumble back. "You know it's rude to walk away from someone when they're talking to you."
He breathes on my neck, and I hear him inhale, "God, how I've missed you." I freeze immediately, like a deer in headlights, I am unable to move.
