Just borrowing some Marvel characters and taking them for a bit of a spin. In my version of the Marvel universe, Tony Stark brings young Peter Parker, aka Spiderman, to the Avengers as a potential new member. And the story takes off with Peter adjusting to his new life with the Avengers and to becoming a part of the team. Then there are the Avenger team members themselves who are having to adjust to having a kid as a team member. Some are accepting while others don't think it's a good idea to have a kid placed in harms way. Particularly Natasha Romanoff, who accepts that Peter needs training, but doesn't like the idea of Peter being in danger. After being made into a weapon herself, she does not want that to happen to any child. And why does Peter always seem to throw himself into thick of things, placing himself between her and those who oppose the Avengers? Just who does this kid think he is? Why does he do it?

Bucky Barnes is an ex-assasin, mind controlled by HYDRA for years and finally saved by the avengers , who thought they put an end to his misery. Nightmares and paranoia, won't even let him step out of the house which makes him exist more as an entity than a person. When his good friend from the past offers him a job for the avengers, he never thinks he will take it. Until he realises work may be the only thing he truly needs to get back to his old life, if that is even possible. When they meet they both come to the conclusion that they will never get along. That may not be the best option you can get when you have panic attacks, powers that are too strong to sometimes control and having feelings and emotions that are great but also exhausting.
