Blessed But Broken

"He never got the chance. He had hesitated for too long, lost in thought. Before he could take a step, the shelf behind him came crashing down, books spilling everywhere, scattering on the floor. Pages ripped as they were trapped beneath the heavy oak piece, caught by the edges as they were moving. In a few seconds, and with the thunderous sound of books cascading to the ground, it was over.

And Logan was trapped beneath, no way out."

This is the rewrite of my original Sanders' Sides fanfiction, A Mystery and Shadows of Lies! This version, however, is an AU, unlike the original. It starts out as a mystery to find out what really happens when Logan is injured in what appears to be a freak accident, but also deals with the emotional turmoil of the others almost losing one of their best friends.

Although it is Logan who was injured, this is Patton's story. It displays a one-sided Logicality love, and some Prinxiety, although that isn't the true focus of the story.

Ultimately, this journey is meant to answer one question for those involved: What happens when our entire world shatters?

Can anyone truly be strong enough to pick up the pieces and carry on?
