"This prom is not my cup of tea. I would rather be up on my roof, watching the stars."
Olivia always thought she'd be best friends with Grace. Time apart could never change what they had. That's why Olivia wasn't at all worried when Grace was to leave Ohio for Michigan. After all, it was only one state away, and they planned to write to each other and video chat every weekend. But of course, not all promises can be kept, as the letters slowly stopped coming and planned video calls did not happen. Olivia had no choice but to move on.
Now, six summers later, Grace has moved back and is attending Olivia's high school. Olivia is hopeful at first, that perhaps they can resume their seemingly paused friendship, but the two friends quickly learn that six summers apart can make a big difference. Follow Olivia as she learns the meaning of real friendship.
