"Yes, Prince Bakugo?" Izuku questioned as he bowed before Katsuki, the subtle flinch going unnoticed as Izuku settled his gaze on the red carpet below.
"Izuku, I-" Katsuki's words gathered in the back of his throat, burning him as he tried to speak. He never apologized, but for Izuku, he would. "I'm sorry, for everything I've done. I know my words don't mean anything, but please, give me the chance to make it up to you!" Katsuki plead, tears pricking at the corner of his eyes as his heart raced.
Izuku looked up from the ground, stunned by the apology. He had never expected the Katsuki Bakugo to ever apologize to anyone, let alone him. "I don't know, Prince Bakugo. It would probably take a life time for me to forgive you for what you've done," Izuku's hushed voice still reached Katsuki.
The blonde grinned, happy that Izuku was at least considering the idea. "Then a life time it shall take. I won't stop until I have your forgiveness. I want us to be friends again," Katsuki whispered as he pulled the other into a hug, finally letting the tears fall.
