Ever just feel rejected? Like you don't belong? Like you're not human? Well, that's how Matthew, a twenty-one-year-old man who's been having recurring nightmares since he was 12, felt at the age of 13. His father hated him and the other kids saw him as a freak because of how intimidating and serious he looked all the time. Not once, since his mother's passing, did he feel happy. Ever since then, he's had recurring nightmares about his mother's passing and how his father treated him. Except this time, Slenderman showed up in one of his nightmares. But... how? He hasn't interacted with Slenderman in his life. Or so he thought. Since he supposedly met Slenderman once in his lifetime, he's had chronic headaches, nausea, and visions of him. One Saturday night, when he jolted awake after another nightmare, he got another headache. The cause of it was unknown, though, and taking medications to ease the pain somewhat didn't work like it usually did. Trying to find the source through Google, he found nothing. It was just an ordinary headache to Google. He tries going outside, again, finding nothing.
But when his car breaks down in the middle of the woods, he comes face to face with Slenderman, passing out. Slenderman carries him to a mansion far off in the woods, which was used as a myth to scare children into straying from the woods. As Matthew must get used to his new home, he meets a cute guy, who's supposed to train him, but they hate each other because this cute guy hates weaklings, and assumes Matthew is weak simply because he's human. But the feeling's mutual because Matthew hates working with other people. But what'll happen when these two slowly build a relationship?
