"Everything I need is here," he whispered in my ear. I looked into his eyes, only to see me in them. He pulled me closer; we were just inches away from each other his breath was fanning my face. I could hear our heart beat in a rhythm, being this close to him; I could feel his heart hammering in his chest. His grip tightened around my waist as he placed his other hand on my cheek. My hands were on his chest, holding his shirt which seemed like my only support as my knees felt like jelly! It seemed so magical. We were so lost in each other, he leaned closer and my eyes shut automatically. As soon as his lips met mine, a thousand fire crackers started bursting in my head, there were goosebumps on my skin and butterflies in my stomach. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Should you tolerate anything in a relationship just to make it work or because he's your first love? Because sometimes, for a FOREVER you will have to fall in love all over again..

Star is a different type of girl. Ever since she got detached from her divorced, emotionally unavailable parents, she's been filling up her quiet, lonely world with music and dancing. She's practically a musical prodigy at 16 and music can't possibly be taken away from her. The only people she's ever been really close to are her psycho, over enthusiastic bff's. They're the only people she can tolerate anyway. That's until one fateful day when she meets a cocky, narcissistic, though really cute guy at her favourite fro yo shop who gets under her skin for just being himself. She absolutely detests guys like him. Absolutely gorgeous, frustratingly charming, cocky as hell and shockingly talented at music. That's right. Star discovers that this seemingly unbearable guy loves music almost as much as she does and just that single fact makes her heart soften a little so she lets her guard down for just a tiny bit. But after that one moment that she decides to let it down, she realises that she can't get it back up again. She discovers she can actually feel things and once she acknowledges this, her whole world is completely changed from the quiet, peaceful, drama free life she has always been used to into a series of drama, heartbreak, tears, broken trusts and friendships. |Featured X1| @romance(high school romance)

There's nothing to it. Really. I'm just and average girl who's finding out that the world is big. In fact, it's too big. It's so big it's messing up me and some of the people I care about. And it's just because I learned a new concept called love?! I could go on and on, but these are just my free-written poems about love, heartbreak, recovery, and just being okay that I write hoping someone is there. Maybe someone will understand. And maybe, just maybe, I'm not alone.

"What does it mean to love someone who doesn't love you back? To wait, to hope, to wonder if love can change the way the stars align?" This is not just a story,it's a journey. A raw, intimate recollection of love that bloomed in silence, of moments that lingered too long in the spaces between friendship and something more. "Parting is such sweet sorrow, That I shall say good night till it be morrow." A very short novella (Only about 10k words in total) that I used to get me out of a writing slump, with little to no action but lots of emotions. A reflection on my mind of what love is, and what defies it? What if, I loved someone I didn't? What if, I fell in love, again? What does it feel like, to be in love so desperately?
