Ken was that boy. The one that always knew what he wanted to do with his life, and had it all planned out. Get a scholarship, get into college, get a job, and NEVER leave your mom. That was his plan. He anticipated everything. He knew one day, Jayla would die or leave (Either way she'd be out of their lives soon), he knew it was highly likely that Jackie would drop out, he knew that sooner or later his Aunt Evie would visit less frequently, and he knew that no one could ever fix his mom.
