Daniel was an eight year old boy when his father started abusing him when his mother wasn't around. Daniel's mother often worked late hours and would come home completely oblivious to what her husband was doing to her son and what mental trauma he was starting to have as he got old enough to start becoming aware.  

Daniel's mother started to finally see the signs when Daniel was having a nightmare after taking a nap on the sofa when he came home from school from his first day of elementary school. 

He started to mutter in his sleep telling his father to stop and that it hurts. She immediately got red flags as he flinched as she woke him up that is when she asked him what was he talking about in his sleep and that is when he finally decided he couldn't hold it in anymore so he told her what his father was doing to him and him being so young she thought he maybe watched a TV program that he wasn't supposed to watch but then one night she came home and walked in on her husband beating Daniel that's when she knocked him out with a vase and escaped with the now unconscious Daniel as she rushed him to a hospital and after the whole ordeal she ordered a restraining order against her husband.

 And as Daniel got older he experiences a fear of male figures and has had nightmares since he was eight years old as he turned 14 he was hit with sudden death of his mother she lost the battle to breast cancer so therefore he was alone and completely vulnerable and lost without her. And his father showed up and took custody of Daniel and was again abused over the course of  8 years as he is now 22 years old where Daniel is a college student surrounded by a new yet all too familiar life as he was experiencing as a child.All Rights Reserved
