Xavier's POV
I don't understand her. She wasn't like anyone I've met before and that's saying a lot. I watched as she soaked in what was left of the sunlight as the sun went down, pulling at the grass from its roots.
My whole life I've had someone try to change me or save me but her, she didn't even try. It's not that I wanted to be changed, I just didn't understand her.
"Angel face," Xavier called.
No answer as she continued to bask in the sun.
"Ellie," still no reply. "Evangeline!"
Finally she turned to look at him, "Yes Xavier?"
Xavier thought for a moment, unsure if he really wanted to speak his thoughts.
"Evangeline, you're the only person I've met that haven't tried to change me like I'm so broken puppy that needs saving, why?"
She looked away, basking in the sun once more. It seemed as if she had already knew what he was going to ask and was just waiting for it. As if shes heard this question a million times.
Finally, she sighed and turned to look at him, "I wasn't put on this Earth for my only purpose to come and save someone. I'm not a savior, it's not my job to pick up broken pieces. I just want to live."
Xavier Jones is a 19 year old trouble maker who's whole life had people trying to change him. Evangeline, Angel or Ellie, is a 18 year old just trying to experience life without any boundaries.

Are you mine?
We've all heard about 'the main character'. The type of person who lives through the most dramatic and improbable situations, and finds the kind of epic romance you only see in works of fiction. Which makes you think about how unrealistic love like that is. I used to think the same thing until I met him. Until I met 'the bad boy' that, as it turns out, wasn't that bad at all, just simply...a boy. A boy with an easy smile, a charming personality and looks so enticing that I couldn't keep my eyes off of him if I tried. A boy whose shoulders were starting to slump with the weight of his past and his family. A boy who believed that the only way to survive was by putting a lock on his heart and chaining it down to a place so deep inside of him that no one could ever reach it again. A boy who, for reasons I'll never comprehend, placed the key inside my palm and didn't shy away when I tried to free his hidden heart from its restraints. A boy who made me the main character of my own story. A story I never want to forget, and which begged to be put on paper. This is about a girl, (Emma) who has been through many things when she was a kid she was more open and was never scared to talk to anyone. shy, caring, really empathetic, anxious, doesn't speak her mind, deals with the abuse, always has a positive outlook on life. but over the years she changed she developed anxiety. She has always been talkative, but will not ever ever shut up being around her friends, her friends energize her and make her happy. She loves and cares for her friends more than herself and will do anything for them. She's been sheltered her whole life, \ been through a lot.., she has beautiful red hair to the middle of her back big green eyes that look like emeralds with a beautiful caramel skin, but no one knows what happens behind closed doors. He's got caramel brown, curly hair with beautiful blue eyes that makes his skin look golden with his gorgeous freckles. he's a bad boy who seems to be tough, but has a soft heart. Primrose was raised to be a perfect little girl her whole life, at a young age she was raised to perfection, kitten heels, dresses and manners of a lady. She met a boy named Xavier in preschool, a skinny little boy with glasses, she grew fond of the funny little boy and they became good friends despite his family being short of money. When Primrose was 8 and Xavier was 9 years old Xavier's Fathers business hit the jackpot and went sky high making them one of the richest families in the country. He moved away leaving primrose in her perfectly controlled life. Years passed, Xavier changed in every way possible, he got contact lenses and his hair grew darker with age and he was toned and covered in tattoos. He was unrecognisable. Primrose however hadn't changed one bit, she had light blonde hair with soft curls and bright green eyes. She still wore perfect prim dresses and kitten heels and held herself like a lady and was kind to everyone even the worst of people. When Xavier returned to his home town at 19 he recognised primrose who is now 18. However she didn't recognise him. (TW: I have made this story mature for very small reasons such as how her father treats her and her mother and it may be upsetting to some so please be mindful of this when reading the story. There is also bullying and controlling behaviour mentioned. Otherwise it's pretty PG within the book)
