His Doll

I was new to the neighborhood and trying to settle in. Everything was great for about 3 weeks until a shady man kept leaving summons in my mail for the previous home owner. I should've been alarmed at how regular and aggressive they were but I brushed it off. I was also too ignorant to notice the sleek Rover that regularly passed my house and the weird bodyguard-like men who surveilled my house. Maybe the cheapness of the house should've said something to me but I was a foreigner and naive.
