Steel and Sea

Mera Arlert has spent the better part of her life looking after her little brother, Armin, and his two friends Mikasa Ackerman and Eren Jaeger. After Wall Maria was lost, and the last of their families taken from them, the four enlisted in the military with the intention to join the Scouts. Eren wants to destroy all Titans, Mikasa wants to protect Eren, Armin wants to understand what awaits them beyond the walls. And Mera? She didn't think she wanted anything, other than her brother's safety. That is, until she meets a certain Captain Ackerman.

This story takes place over the course of all 4 seasons, following Mera and her sudden invitation to join Levi Squad. What starts as a bid to stay close to her brother and to protect her friends turns in to something more, something she couldn't have expected.
