Time. Something that both interests and haunts Hugo Gerard, a 17 year old in the early 1900s of France. When he is offered an apprenticeship to a clockmaker, Hugo leaps at the chance. But when he one day accidentally slices the skin from his left hand, a man appears in front of him, declaring his name is Time and Hugo is his son made of clockwork. He explains that his younger brother, Oblivion, is adamant about taking over the forces of time, and it's up to Hugo to save him. Thus begins a historical journey filled to the brim with suspense, drama, and fantasy that will leave you on the edge of your seat.

A twist to the story, Modern Prince. Hugo travels back in time and after being accused of witchcraft, is saved by Prince Varian who wants him as his manservant at the castle. Hugo promises to grant the prince a cure to his illness if he just lets him travel back to his timeline. Double crossing a medieval prince could have disastrous results, especially if that prince is making Hugo fall head over heels.
