If Given a Chance

After drying my tears, I stood up and started putting my clothes on my luggage.

This is it. this is really the end that i've been avoiding.

Sa huling pagkakataon ay nilibot ko ng tingin ang aming bahay kasabay nang paulit-ulit na pagpapaalala sa sarili na maging matatag at kakayanin ko pa.

After convincing myself, I picked up my luggage and car keys.

But before I could hold the door knob, it automatically opened and revealed the person whom I've loved and still love.

"Where are you going?" he asked while looking down on my luggage. he can't even look at me now huh?

"Is this it?" he asked after hearing nothing from me. He asked like he isn't the one who filed for a divorce.

"Isn't this what you wanted?" I asked back while looking into his eyes and realized how stupid I am to hope that he will say no or that I will still be able to see a sign of regret in his eyes.

I stupidly smiled and nodded. no answer is an answer, right?

Huminga ako nang malalim bago lumabas sa pinto, kailangan ko nang lumayo bago pa tuluyang pumatak ang mga luha ko.

" I'm sorry." he said that stopped me from taking another step.
