I turned my head in surprise as Athen gazed out the window for a moment, then turned to look at me. I gave him a small smile, then turned my head back to the window.
"Yeah, I guess you could call me that."

It always seemed like Elowen Beaumont was running to catch a train, but never quite making it. As time went on, each day began to seem like a repeat of the last, as if her life was stuck on an endless loop. She didn't know what to do, and she didn't know how to ask for help. Just as Elowen was about to give in to the rain that was pouring down on her, she met Athen Dubois. Would he be able to give her the advice she needs in order to save herself?
