She shifted backwards.


"Wh...what... Are you doing??? She asked in a fearful voice. Her throat burned and her breath quickened.

"Are you afraid of me?" He asked leaning more closer, now that they were only an inch apart.

Without looking up, she could feel his jaw clenched, a vein popping in his forehead, his beautiful eyes masked with hesitation, his breathing matched her, but one thing she wasn't sure about was his Heart. Was it still beating?? For Whom??
