An adaptation of the movie "The Secret of Moonacre" which was loosely based on "The Little White Horse" book.

This story introduces Constance Merryweather. A young 20-year old girl destined for more than the city life she was brought up in. After the sad and distressing death of both her Mother and Father Constance, her younger sister Maria and their determined governess Miss Heliotrope embark on new adventures in the West Country of England within the district of Moonacre Valley.

A city girl in the countryside. What could possibly go wrong? It turns out a lot could. A story filled with fairy tales that turn to reality, bandits and plunderers threatening the borders of her new home and an unexpected acquaintance which could potentially blossom if they could only let go of their pride.

NOTE - This will be a slow-paced story, I'm excited to explore Moonacre, in a different light, and do not want to rush it! Please bear with it, I'm super proud of this one and once you get stuck in I'm sure you will enjoy the storyline.

UPLOAD SCHEDULE - Will be slow! I have taken away the set day of every week schedule many of my readers were used to. I've started University and I'm sure many of you know the pressures that puts on people.

Please be understanding, as I know a lot of you are. These chapters take many hours to write and edit but it is wonderful to see the responses you readers provide. Please do comment, I love to hear from you!

'We fight for the future of Narnia, and for such, the child is pivotal.' There are Prophesies in almost every world. Many are carved into cave walls, many are passed on by wise Elders as entire civilisations hold their breathes and wait hundreds, perhaps thousands of years for something or, more usually, someone. But this particular Narnian Prophecy was sung by the stars and held as whispers in the wind. This Prophecy took but 7 days to begin. The Kings and Queens of Narnia simply couldn't understand why an untrained girl- Lilith, was her name- was sent to them amidst the dawn of battle. Lilith herself knew not what she'd done to deserve being thrown into the eye of a storm. But the Centaurs knew. The Fauns, the Dryads, the Talking Animals- each one of them knew. Lilith did unspeakable things as a guest of Royalty. She won the heart of an imperfect King, said the most unrefined things to incredibly refined people and even attempted murder within the Castle walls. But alas, all are part of a far, far bigger story; The story of 'She'. _-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_ 'Some walkways reminded her of Hogwarts. Mirabel Rhodes lived a life in a boarding school that was situated under the ground. Never had she seen a ray of sun or a twinkle of stars but only heard about a world that existed above them in books. Her foster family prepared her and hundreds of girls for a deal that they were never told about. When she turned sixteen, they opened them for sale to the scientists and werewolves for experiments. Afraid, she took the chance that she believed was necessary to save herself and someday them, even if it could end her life. She ran away far and clueless until she accidentally trespassed the territory of Blood Moon pack. Lucky for Mira, the Alpha of the pack was on a run before pack warriors could find and kill her for a rogue. He took her to the packhouse, treated her wounds and gave her space to start a new life. For Alpha Maximus, she should have been a recovery case, but she was more than that. Mateless for a decade, he couldn't understand why he was getting attracted toward a barely adult human. She made him and his wolf feel things that they never experienced before. For two years, he had been in the shade until the night came to answer his confusion. His suspicion turned into reality when he smelt her and found out she was his mate. A human for a mate, but that wasn't the issue, the issue was mating season and him being on heat. Guess what could make her run away from the generous Alpha and turn him into a cruel, closed-off brute? And how would he react when secrets would unveil, truth start to unfold and attraction turn into a feral obsession?
