One day, she's just a normal seventeen year old. The next, she finds herself miraculously surviving a brush with death itself.
The homicide is reported to the Vallejo police by the murderer himself, or at least somebody claiming to be the murderer. Not much information is told besides the location, and the fact that it was a double homicide. . . or that he thought it was. It wasn't that at all, as Susanne managed to survive that very attack, being the sole survivor.
Terrified that whoever it was that killed her friend would come back for her this time, the second Susanne is discharged from the hospital, she finds herself doing everything she can to help. She assists in the Vallejo Police Department's investigation, providing the best description of the man she could; doing everything and anything in her power to further the investigation. But, she also finds herself doing something the Police Department wouldn't be very fond of. One night, she finds herself taking matters into her own hands after she witnesses something all too familiar.
What will come out of this? Will the seventeen year old be able to stop the infamous Zodiac Killer? Or will she just become another name on the list of victims of a killer that was never caught?
