Anxiety/panic attacks Mental health and maybe smut later in the story. Please also take note I've never been to London so I won't post names of place so I don't get stuff mixed up. I'll try to look a few places up. Also this time line might not be tied to real event some might line up but I'm just kinda writing it how I want. I have gone through and added some real fan expos that he went to but other things are just made up. Some things in his personal life won't be right as well and will be made up as I don't want to dig deep into his personal life. Have you ever met someone who alters the course of your life? For good or for bad, they've come in, given and taken, and then- BOOM! Your life was never the same. There's always a change, an altering of reality. When you meet those people, the reality that you've known your whole life is suddenly gone and a new one has taken its place. When those moments happen, there's no going back. You can try to return to the way things were but nothing, and I mean nothing, can take you back to exactly how it was. That's what happened to us. I think that's why we're still trying so desperately to get back to some sort of normalcy. Four years later and we're still on the ground, crawling, in search of the happiness that was lost that June. Summers will never be the same. Midnight walks through my neighborhood will never be the same. Field parties with bonfires and loud music will never be the same. I still don't know why you left and what lead you to the decision you made. What I do know is that we're here. We're alive and we're pushing forward to the future. A future that you're not a part of. But in some ways, I'm glad you're not a part of it. I just wish it wasn't like this. *** TRIGGER WARNING*** SA, abuse, suicide, substance abuse, and mental illness. This is a complete story that is much like life; fast, full of surprises, and not always how we want it to be. This has been a project of mine for over three years. It was self-published on Amazon, but after some issues in publication, I decided to just upload it on here. I hope you fall in love with these characters like I have. The friends in this story are trying to make names for themselves, figure out who they are, who they can trust, how to love, and how to separate themselves from a restrictive community. As in any coming of age story, they will experience growing pains... but will they survive them before its too late? PLEASE READ THE TRIGGER WARNINGS.

"I see the world and it seems like I see it so differently than most other people. It makes me really angry most of the time. Especially since no one ever listens to me or what I've got to say. I try to express myself in so many different ways and no one sees it. When I sing a song people will only care about how the music sounds or how much I swore. If I paint, people will see the picture but not the meaning. It seems so obvious to me but everyone just seems to... close their eyes. Or at least shut off their brain. As if I see things they don't. But when they don't listen, how can I communicate that to them? It's so frustrating." Allie is a high school student and has big plans to make the world a better place. But her own head is pitting against her, throwing rocks in her path on a daily basis. Everything seems to be great for a while but what happens when her world suddenly comes crashing down around her? Can she ever recover? A coming-of-age story that deals with mental ilnesses, grief, first loves and family, briefly taps into the subject of religion and will likely enrapture you. Trigger warning: mental illnesses, self harm, death, dealing with grief, mentions of guns and gun control, mentions of cults, mentions of homophobia, dissociation. Names of bands, band members and song titles have been changed but at this point I want to credit mainly Palaye Royale, the band 'Homesick Soldiers' that is mentioned throughout is heavily based off them, but I'm sure if you're familiar with them you would have been able to tell that :)

~some things you just can't speak about.~ // hazel eloise finley's old english and frankly quite pretentious name was never released to public whenever she survived the shooting at her high school. not even after the paramedics took her away with a severe bullet wound to the calf or even whenever she drug and hopped herself outside for medical attention afterwards either. only known as the jane doe that survived a school shooting, and the years of physical therapy, permanent nerve damage and chronic pain proved to be the least of her worries. it took years of therapy, hospitalizations, and prescriptions for her to even feel ready to start college after high school. and whenever she did, much like her name, she was determined to bury it. despite the trauma she went on to become one of the most gifted music majors enrolled at the prestigious university in Nashville, TN, an honors student, a residential advisor, and slowly making her way to the student council someday. Though just coming into her sophomore year, a heavily tattooed literature major transfers into the room across from hers that throws everything off track. Julien Rose Baker infuriated her at first, not only because her friends and roommates were loud and obnoxious and stayed up all hours of the night playing loud music and probably doing anything but studying, but because she was better than her, in every sense of the word. sight reading music without missing a beat or a note, shredding her guitar in nearly every practice room, leaving most professors in awe of her vocal range, and not to mention the writings of hers read during some of the english classes the two shared. it was jealousy at its finest. though whenever an unexpected turn of events leaves hazel almost having no choice but to be vulnerable, something else besides avoiding her dorm neighbor might turn into something else. ~ TW for gun violence, ptsd, anxiety, depression, etc...

Hide who you are so they can't see your vulnerable side. Hide your beauty so you know how they act when you have flaws. "I hate it!" I hate this so much. I get up everyday, and it's the same nonsense. I go through it all. Wake up, go to the hell hole. Get bullied, cry. And come home wishing I could show them who I really am. What I really look like. "But you can't, Adeline. And you know that." The only person I have to talk to is myself, Sad. I know. ❀⊱┄┄┄┄┄┄┄┄┄┄┄⊰❀ "Let me go, Easton." "Why won't you let me in?" He yells back to me, tighten his hold on my arms. "I said to let me go." "Tell me why first!" I sigh in defeat, shaking out of his grasp. "You're a bully, Easton. And you know it. You only want me when we're alone." "Why do you think that, Addy? Let me know." "I see it everyday." I shrug, walking away from him. Pausing in my tracks, I laugh silently to myself before looking back to him. Your vulnerability shows, Adeline. No matter what, you'll always be you. I talk about not showing but yet I'm the same either way. At home: I'm shy, but I'm in my own skin. At school: also shy, but I don't show what I have to offer. "Adeline-" Easton reaches out for me and I brush him off. "I've said it before. You're a very fake person, Easton. The fakest of them all."
