When Pigs Fly (Jily Oneshot)

What happens when one day, Lily, who is once again rejecting James, says, "I'll go out with you when pigs fly"? What will happen when James, not knowing the muggle expression, takes her literally?

So here's the backstory of this: I was in a Wolfstar fanfic, and Remus was zoning out while the other marauders planned James' next scheme to get Lily. Remus only caught a few words and one of them was "pigs". With that, I got a sudden Jily headcanon, and I basically wrote this reeeeelly long comment proclaiming my idea.

But I decided to write it out here, as a oneshot.
