Sherlock has has vanished without a trace. Kidnapped by sinister forces that riles even the vast crime web of the Crime King Moriarty. John is at his wits end trying to track down his best friend. A Sherlock fanfiction. Moriarty is back, and everyone knows it. A tragedy strikes the Watson household. Dozens of little crimes pop up all over London. A Minister of Parliament vanishes. What does it all mean? And meanwhile, England's favorite flatmates are forced to re-evaluate the extent of their live-in relationship. This is my first Sherlock fanfic, so please do give me as much constructive criticism as humanely possible. Likewise, it's slash (imagine that). If John and Sherlock being in a relationship is a problem for you, you may not want to read this. On that note, I should likewise add that I intend this to be the darkest story I have written to date. Expect character death, torture, violence, sexual content, and etcetera. Enjoy.

Sherlock Holmes, world famous consulting detective. solving crimes and recovering from the past. Plus he's on the side of the angels. Jim Moriarty, world's most dangerous consulting criminal, creating crimes for Sherlock to solve and still recovering from the past. Plus he's on the dark side. Sherlock thought that he had beaten Moriarty three years ago at the Fall but now he's back from the dead with a bigger threat than ever and Sherlock has to beat him at his game again. But will he be able to do it?

{SUMMARY: EDITED} Follow the exciting life of the consulting detective, Sherlock Holmes as him and his flatmate, John Watson, try to catch James Moriarty, a consulting criminal who is only known to them as the "Invisible Man". However, it isn't long until both find out his true name, and the detective himself finds out his true identity. Things get turned for the worse when Sherlock comes up with what he believes a clever plan, a plan that he keeps secret, in order to beat the consulting criminal at his own game. But it could be that Moriarty has messed with the sociopath's mind. . . Which means he may be going mad. But despite all of this, and keeping this secret away from John, Mr Holmes is a restless man, and he will not stop at nothing until he has caught---and stopped--- the enemy(Dr.Watson, however, is less determined). With an IQ above average and being a highly-functioning sociopath at best, and a detective partner who happens to be a doctor at his side, Sherlock is on a wild hunt in which the scent gets nearer. . . . But the trail is getting fainter every time he is one step closer. The police are at a dead end and as there seems to be no sign of the detective, they are forced to call upon Dr. Watson, who agrees to it, for he believes that there is a connection between these happenings and his most intimate acquaintance. Will Watson succeed? Why is Holmes missing? Is it only "just a normal case" or does it have more than what it shows? Find out in this story........ My addition to the fandom is out - and so is John. - In the year 1997, John Watson finds himself at an interview for a job he doesn't need, and then at the same location of a new university flatmate that he initially doesn't want. Meanwhile, Sherlock Holmes is trying to debunk the Scotland Yard's incorrect description of what is actually a group of mass-murders revolving around a small memory-wiping pill. Mr. Holmes needs an assistant, and Mr. Watson needs a companion. Little do either of them know how much they specifically need one another. [I wrote this when I was early in my teenage years. Keeping it up because you like it, but keep in mind it may be riddled with potentially less-than-decent content. Happy reading!]
