What if the first person Juliet met was Mercutio? How would his more extreme personality alter the rest of the story? Just a dramatic retelling of what I imagined would play out if we removed a lot of the romance and upped the family-feud antics up to 11. I just thought Mercutio was a pretty cool dude, despite being a misogynistic arse &lt;3.  Chose to cut out a lot of the romance because Romeo and Juliet is already so heavily associated with romance and- mmm yeah-
    
    Just a fanfiction I did for a class in 9th grade(?) I think? Posting it without any alterations, edits or anything ever since. Posting it in all of its cringey glory. I even kept the name the same and god knows it's so hilariously stupid- 
    
    If the chance for rewriting it ever arises, the story will be here. But I'll post the original cause it has a special place in my heart &lt;3
